Yeojin visited Professor Tianli Fengโs research group at The University of Utah during the summer. During her visit, she carried out research on first-principles calculations and participated in the 2025 Summer Heat Transfer Conference (SHTC 2025) ๐



Undergraduate interns Hyejun, Minju, and Yejin successfully completed their internship in the lab over the summer! โ๏ธ



Wonsik, Jeongwook, and Byoungjoon participated in The 12th Korean Symposium on Graphene and 2D Materials and gave poster presentations. Congratulations to Byoungjoon, who received an award for his poster presentation! ๐





Yoonseong, Wonsik, Byungjun, Byoungjoon, Jeonghoon, and Seongbeom participated in Nano Korea 2025. Yoonseong, Wonsik, Byungjun, Jeonghoon, and Seongbeom gave poster presentations, while Byoungjoon delivered his first oral presentation๐



Hyun and Jaehyung participated in the Intersociety Conference on Thermal and Thermomechanical Phenomena in Electronic Systems (ITherm 2025), where Jaehyung gave an oral presentation about ‘Multiscale Evaluation of Thermal Conductance of Thermal Interface Materials’.

Hyun and Jaehyung participated in the Korean Ceramic Society 2025 Spring Meeting (KCERS 2025 Spring), where Hyun delivered an oral presentation and Jaehyung gave a poster presentation.


Byungjun and Jaeyoung participated in the Materials Research Society Spring Meeting & Exhibit (MRS 2025 Spring). Jaeyoung delivered an oral presentation, and Byungjun gave a poster presentation and received the Best Poster Award. Congratulations! ๐



Wonsik participated as a presenter at the 2D Materials Workshop, delivering a presentation on โThermal Transport Properties and Ultrafast Dynamics of 2D Materials and Their Engineering.โ ๐


Hyun and Byoungjoon visited Professor Qiye Zheng’s research group at HKUST during the winter. During their visit, they learned about FDTR, TPS, and 3-omega measurement techniques.
