Research Collaboration and Exchange at HKUST
Hyun and Byoungjoon visited Professor Qiye Zheng’s research group at HKUST during the winter. During their visit, they learned about FDTR, TPS, and 3-omega measurement techniques.
Internship 2025 Winter
Undergraduate intern Seongbeom successfully finished his internship in the lab over the winter. He spent two months in the lab researching phase change materials. 👏

The 1st A3 NTEE Workshop
Yoonseong, Wonsik, Seunghwan, and Prof. Jang participated in the 1st A3 Nano & Thermal Energy Engineering (NTEE) Workshop, which was held at the University of Tokyo on Jan. 13-15, 2025. Wonsik, Seunghwan and Yoonseong gave poster presentations. Wonsik received an award for his outstanding presentation. Congratulations! 🎉
ENGE 2024
The group participated in the 8th International Conference on Electronic Materials and Nanotechnology for Green Environment (ENGE 2024). Soo Yeon delivered an oral presentation; Byungjun, Hyeon-Beom, and Wonsik gave poster presentations. Congratulations to Byungjun, who received a Poster Session Award for his poster presentation!😁
The 23rd Korea-Japan Students’ Symposium
The 23rd Korea-Japan Students’ Symposium was held at Seoul National University from October 31 to November 1, 2024. Hyun participated both as an organizer and as a presenter in the poster session, and Jaehyung also gave a poster presentation.
Nano Korea 2024
Wonsik, Hyun, Byungjun, Jeongwook, Byoungjoon, Jaehyung, and Yeojin attended the Nano Korea Symposium 2024, where Yeojin received the Best Poster Award. Congratulations, Yeojin!
